Estimate only — not tax advice and not a tax return. Uses 2025 federal and provincial/territorial rates with the basic personal amounts, CPP/EI credits, employment amount, and dividend tax credits. Many credits are not included (medical, donations, tuition, disability, and others), so your assessed result may differ. Quebec figures approximate QPP/QPIP with CPP/EI rates. About this estimate

This calculator applies the CRA's published 2025 figures for every province and territory: federal brackets with the blended 14.5% lowest rate, each jurisdiction's brackets and basic personal amount (including the Nova Scotia supplement, the Manitoba phase-out, and Yukon's mirror of the federal amount), the Ontario surtax and health premium, the 16.5% Quebec abatement, the Canada employment amount, CPP and EI credits, CPP payable on self-employment income, the 50% capital gains inclusion, and each province's dividend tax credits. Pick a different province on the map to see the same numbers under its rates — a quick what-if for a move or a comparison.

It leaves out anything it can't know from a few numbers — medical expenses, donations, tuition, the age amount, spousal transfers, carryforwards, and provincial low-income reductions outside Ontario among them. Quebec's QPP/QPIP payroll rates are approximated with CPP/EI. Treat the result as a directional snapshot, not a filing position. When you're ready for the real number, we'll prepare the return.
